Architect - Residential Studio

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Architect to join a creative, growing multidisciplinary studio.
This role is ideal for someone with substantial ArchiCAD experience, particularly in the single residential sector, and a passion for managing multiple small-scale residential projects.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to running projects from concept through to completion, while ensuring designs are executed to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple small residential projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are metProduce detailed technical documentation and drawings in ArchiCAD, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulationsCollaborate with the design team to develop innovative and efficient design solutions while maintaining strong technical executionDemonstrate strong project management skills, liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project deliveryManage project workflows and timelines independently while fostering a collaborative team environmentProactively identify issues and implement effective solutions throughout the design and construction processSkills and ExperienceCompleted qualifications in ArchitectureArchitects Registration preferred, but not essentialExtensive experience using ArchiCAD in a professional environment, particularly for residential projectsProven track record of delivering high-quality documentation for single residential projectsStrong technical knowledge, including detailed documentation and construction drawing preparationPrevious experience working in a small practice is highly preferred.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple small residential projects from design through to completionIn-depth understanding of Australian design, tender, and construction processes, with a focus on local NSW regulations and the BCAProficiency in Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite is advantageousA keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills, with a 'can-do' attitudeBenefits and CultureFlexible working arrangementsA tight-knit, supportive studio culture with a focus on personal development and collaborationOpportunity to work in a boutique, design-focused environment with a hands-on role in shaping the practice's futureStrong design culture, where creativity and innovation are highly valuedIf the above position appeals to you then please submit your CV and work samples (no more than 10mb PDF attachment) to ****** and we'll be in touch.
