This role will see you provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Emergency Department at Tamworth Hospital, assisting patients, visitors, doctors, and nurses.
Training and orientation will be provided, as well as ongoing support from the Emergency Department Team, Patient Services Manager, Team Leader, and Administrative Team.

Tamworth Hospital is a major referral hospital located in the northern region of the Hunter New England Local Health District.
Recently refurbished, our 288-bed facility includes Intensive Care, rehabilitation services, a Brain Injury Unit, Diabetes Centre, and high dependency unit.

About You:
To be successful in this position, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as superior time management and attention to detail.
You will be a dedicated and enthusiastic team player with the ability to think on your feet and complete work within allocated timeframes.
You will be available to work shift work.

Minimum Requirements:
This position requires eligibility for permanent employment in this role, specifically as an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.

An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part-time and temporary part-time vacancies.
