About the Project:
Ventia is proudly partnering with Transurban Queensland (TQ) with over 80 team members to provide incident response, maintenance, and minor capital works for open roads & tunnelling assets in the Southeast of Queensland (SEQ). Sites include AirportlinkM7, Clem7, Legacy Way, Inner City Bypass, Go Between Bridge and the Gateway and Logan Motorways.
About the Role:
Ventia / Skout's Civil Team are recruiting landscape labourers to ensure the landscaping around the motorways are consistently maintained to the highest standard; with a goal to provide a safe and aesthetically pleasing motoring experience for its patrons. It offers an exciting opportunity to redefine excellence in this new and ongoing maintenance project.
Based in Drewvale, the position will be until May with the view for continuous work beyond if all is working out. The successful candidates will need to reside locally, to work Mon - Fri, 8hr shifts- from 6am-2pm with some occasional overtime on offer.
Primary Responsibilities: Vegetation controlRemove litter and debris from roadways and drainage systems.Perform roadside landscaping work, such as clearing weeds and brush, and general vegetative maintenance.General labouring as required.What's required: 6 months general labouring experience.A good attitude towards doing general labouring including mowing, weed control and slashing operations.Operation of whipper snipperWhite Construction CardDiversity: We are enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
