Cedars is a Prep to Year 12 independent private school with approximately 800 students located just 10 kilometres south of Wollongong in the heart of the beautiful Illawarra.

We are currently inviting applications for the following position, commencing in 2025:
SECONDARY MUSIC TEACHER – PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME (0.8 – 1.0 FTE) NEGOTIABLE
A permanent position exists for a passionate Music teacher to contribute to the vibrant and growing Creative and Performing Arts culture of the College.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Commitment to fostering all students' talent, desire and passion for music A thorough knowledge of current pedagogy and music practices Ability to teach Stage 4 to Stage 6 Music Ability to support Co-Curricular Music programs and events by leading ensembles and groups, with a specialisation in choir/vocal groups being favourable Ability to develop a strong rapport with students, parents and staff Excellence in classroom professional practice Enthusiasm in their involvement in the co-curricular life of the College Applications close on Thursday 21 November 2024.
