This opportunity will see you lead a large project that will bring significant change to our client's business.TasWaterTasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is an Alliance between TasWater, UGL, CPB and WSP Australia.The TasWater CDO will deliver: · Major water infrastructure projects across Tasmania as part of the TasWater $1.1 billion capital works program · Timely, cost effective, and quality capital works solutions for all stakeholders · Improved safety outcomes · Capacity and capability to transition the program back to TasWater post completion · The necessary framework for emergent projectsAbout the Role TasWater CDO have a requirement for a Environmental Advisor to join our team. What will your day look like in this role: · Conduct environmental impact assessments, reviews, field inspections and site assessments. · Monitor, manage operational activities, and be responsible for the daily delivery of the project's environmental functions. · Ensure that different stages of the project and operations comply with environmental laws, regulations, and permits. · Collaborate with subcontractors, landowners, stakeholders, traditional owners, and the community to address environmental concerns and develop sustainable practices. · Conduct environmental audits to identify areas of improvement and assess compliance. · Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental assessments, compliance, and initiatives. ·  Manage high-level issues and give guidance to operational management on environmental issues.
