Description & RequirementsAs our Van Driver, you'll be operating and delivering in our vans as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day.
You'll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player.
Initially a Casual Full time role working Monday to Friday, 12pm - 6pm with potential for permanent work.
Your Responsibilities:Safely operate a van to perform duties such as picking up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices, and Delivery Centres.Pick up mail and parcel items from our customers.Unload mail articles from vans and manually sort them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts.Complete your own daily vehicle safety check.Be paired with our experienced senior drivers, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development.About You:Hold a full or probationary Australian driver's licence.Successfully pass our mandatory and practical driving assessment.Be flexible with working additional hours if required.Have a great memory, excellent attention to detail, and be able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly.Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.How We'll Deliver for You:We invest in you for the long-term, encouraging growth through delivering on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment, and Safety.Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day.We invest in your personal well-being, recognizing and rewarding you for your contributions with Post Perks and more.Our Commitment to Inclusion:At Australia Post, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, live, and gather as employees.
