Due to a number of recent and projected wins in the Defence space, they are currently seeking a Bid Manager to join the business based out of the NT Head Office in Darwin. Benefits: Build your career with a company that values professional growth and provides opportunities for developmentEnjoy a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and personal progressionFlexible working arrangementsA competitive remuneration package and benefits.Your responsibilities will include: Reporting into the Estimating & Procurement Manager and the General Manager, the Bid Manager will be responsible for the bid management process and leading the bid team for allocated tenders (both building and civil).
The Bid Manager will manage the development of bids/tenders submitted to the clients on behalf of the organisation to ensure a high level of success in being awarded the tender.
This role will ensure that the tenders are developed to a consistently high standard, meeting the expectations of the organisation.
To be considered for the role you will have: Formal or informal tertiary education in Building Construction or EngineeringAustralian Drivers' License.A minimum of 5 years experience in the building or civil construction industry, or related industry experience with a demonstrated success in delivering to financial targets, timeframes, planning and logistics management.Proven experience leading successful bids/tenders using best practices approachesDemonstrated experience in managing a teamExperience in negotiation and client relationship building accompanied with a sound understanding of contract management and cost optimisationDefence bid/tendering experience desirableHow to Apply: If you meet the above criteria, please click 'Apply Now' or email ****** for more information.
