The clinical operational structure comprises of: Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Service, Cystic Fibrosis Service, General Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Service, Lung Transplantation Service and Physiology Service.
A number of joint cross-portfolio Services underpin the clinical operations of Respiratory Medicine.
The academic and teaching activities of Respiratory Medicine are under the auspices of the Professor/Director of Research Allergy Immunology and Respiratory Medicine, within the Central Clinical School.Position SummaryAs the Cystic Fibrosis Nurse Coordinator, you foster the autonomy/independence of the patients in managing their health care, in keeping with the spirit of the health service agreement.
You understand the importance of establishing a relationship between the patient and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patients.
You demonstrate the core values of patient-centred care, trust and respect in every interaction with patients, carers and colleagues.
In your role as Nurse Coordinator, you will liaise and work closely with the Head of the Cystic Fibrosis Service and the other members of the multidisciplinary cystic fibrosis team.
