Cook/Catering Assistant

Applications are being sought for a permanent part-time or casual Catering Assistant in our catering department, working 4-5 days per week (around 25 hours per week, potentially more). Based in Port Douglas and reporting to the Catering Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Daily food preparation for our vesselsBasic kitchen hand dutiesFood delivery to our vesselsAdhering to Food Safety practicesMaintaining a high standard of personal hygieneAbout you Be an early riser for start time of 5am and weekend work may applySound knowledge of Food Safety practicesExperience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is desirable but not essentialHold a current Australian C class drivers Licence (auto at min)About Quicksilver Group We are proudly Australia's leading Great Barrier Reef tourism company with operations based in Cairns, Port Douglas and Green Island.
