About the Role As a Maintenance (Mechanical) Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability across fixed plant operations.
This site-based FIFO role involves working with the site team to support and optimise several newly installed fixed plant assets during production ramp up.
The nominated person is required to identify design and performance issues, provide innovative solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of countermeasures.
Key Responsibilities Identify areas for improvement on process equipment from a mechanical perspective within a Lithium operation.
Develop and propose solutions, from concept stage through to execution.
Monitor and track the efficiency of the implemented solution with a view to identify further optimisation opportunities.
Where required, draft detailed scopes of work to guide repair and improvement projects.
Coordinate with the head office Engineering team to align efforts and ensure consistency.
Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
What You Bring Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Familiarity with fixed plant operations in hard rock mining environments.
Proven experience optimizing materials handling systems and processes.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in mining, shutdowns, or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to identify and eliminate recurring defects in mechanical systems.
Ability to work autonomously, delivering results with minimal supervision.
Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
