About the role
We are seeking a dedicated WHS Business Partner to work alongside managers, staff, and key stakeholders in cultivating a strong safety culture while playing a crucial role in risk management, training, and incident prevention strategies.
This position will involve collaborating to develop and implement safety initiatives that align with our business objectives.
You will provide expert guidance to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, conduct risk assessments and audits, and lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
Additionally, a willingness to travel to all our sites when required, including West Wyalong, Newcastle, and Canberra, is essential for this role.
What you'll do
Work closely with client groups to develop and implement strategies that align with business strategic objectives Provide expert advice and support to ensure compliance with all WHS legislation and regulations Collaborate with teams across multiple sites to ensure consistency and efficiency in safety practices Identify, assess and manage WHS risks through regular audits and assessments Lead incident investigations to uncover root causes and ensure lessons learnt are implemented Monitor the progress of corrective actions to enhance safety outcomes.
Deliver targeted WHS training Coach safety leaders to strengthen their capabilities.
Foster a proactive safety culture by engaging employees in safety initiatives and promoting awareness through effective communication materials.
About You
Are you a dedicated WHS professional ready to make a significant impact?
With formal qualifications (Cert IV and above) and 5 years of experience in a WHS advisory or partner role, you bring a comprehensive understanding of WHS legislation and proven expertise in risk management, incident investigation, and corrective action development.
Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to engage and influence at all levels, fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with client groups to implement strategies that align with business objectives.

What We're Looking For
