About the RoleProvide customer service, administrative, and clerical support in the professional operation of the Building Services Unit.Ensure accurate and up-to-date records, reporting, and advice are provided to the public and Council staff.Work with the Building Services Lead to establish a Building Unit that will be considered a model within Local Government and which constantly strives for continuous improvement and is a high-performing team with a strong culture of collaboration and service excellence.Skills & ExperienceWell-developed administrative, organisational, and customer service skills and experience.High level computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.Knowledge in the application of Pathway, Objective, and GIS is desirable.Good written and oral communication skills.Experience working in a local government building or compliance unit or related public sector area will be highly regarded.CultureAs a progressive leader in Local Government, Darebin City Council is passionate about social inclusion, sustainability, engagement, and service excellence.
