At StandardAero, you'll get just that. We are seeking our next Engineering Operations Specialist. This highly influential role ensures necessary documentation is prepared and is accurate for engine induction. As well as ensuring there is a gated and compliant approach to the throughput of the product through the facility and to ensure QC is managed. You will use technical data to analyze data working towards improving Quality Control with (workshop) best practices, process audits, and documentation.About the role:Production of technical work packs and work scopes including life (limit) informationAct as gatekeeper for technical documentation flow through the facility, inclusive of technical packs, work instructions, manuals to enable data production and dissemination.Conduct audits on Operations' processes, inclusive of reporting, issue escalation and identifying areas and options for improvement.Lead projects and/or new processes e.g., continuous improvement projects across multiple areas to improve productivity and efficiencyBe a point of contact for workshop engineering queries, working closely with engineering in Pratt & Whitney Canada to bring timely and thorough resolution to issuesMaintain complete work files and relevant documentation, showing detailed entries of work performedAssist in training of others, for example classroom presentations ensuring quality standards continue to improveWork closely with Quality Assurance to promote effective investigations (DIVE) and to ensure robust preventative actions are implementedEnsure high levels of communication exist to all internal departments to ensure efforts are maximized to enhance operationsAssist and where required lead, the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives and strategies across the business.Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety Regulations, Business Ethics and financial controlsAbout you:You will have:Tertiary qualifications in aeroskills, aviation Engineering or equivalent significant work experienceFamiliarity with PT6A enginesExceptional interpersonal skills with high level stakeholder management experienceIntermediate experience with MS Office suite and the ability to learn new systems/databasesCommitment to workplace health and safetyExperience in achieving and driving results through quality management and continuous improvement concepts.Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation.What can we offer:Permanent full-time employment, with immediate start availableClean, safe working environment with a close-knit teamTraining and career development opportunitiesSocial activities including participation in community support eventsOnsite car parkingA career at StandardAero is a career with a difference.
