About the role The Campaign Assistant - Socials and Media will be a crucial wing person providing support to the Chief of Staff organising the Senator's media and the Social Media Manager producing and posting content.
You will join a supportive and highly motivated team looking to make a lasting difference for the ACT community.
We are seeking applicants with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, sometimes in high pressure situations.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative and time management skills, who can think creatively through a risk-based lens.
You would be employed in a private capacity by DP Independent Pty Ltd.
Roles and responsibilities Assisting with producing, editing and posting photo and video content across the Senator's social media accounts.Assisting with organising media interviews (radio, print, TV), drafting talking points and comment.Helping manage the website, including posting content, especially media releases and other updates.Selection Criteria Experience working in a similar role previously would be an advantageKnowledge of social media platforms, trends and engagementRelationships with journalists, particularly ACT and Press Gallery mediaVery strong organisational skillsStrong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder engagement skillsGood time management, organisational skills and computer literacyAbility to take initiative and work as part of a team with minimal supervisionA willingness to work additional hoursFurther Details: Position: Campaign Assistant - Socials and Media

Salary: $90k - $130k pro rata + super
