As our Medium RigidTruck Driverin our Townsville team based StarTrack facility, you'll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you'll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn't get better than thatThis is a permanent full time opportunity working Monday to Friday, paying $31.26/hr + super and overtime rates.You'll beSafely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facilityCompleting your own daily vehicle safety checkDriving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-upsReturning to our operational centres to unload pick-upsAbout you You're a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You're passionate about making a difference in the community.You'll also need to Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Hold a Medium Rigid license Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck up to 30kg Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or lessBe prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
