About the role The role of the Marketplace team within Wavemaker is to deliver the highest excellence in Implementation Planning and Buying, spanning both offline and digital media types, powered by data, technology, and automation, ensuring client campaigns are executed and amplified in an effective, efficient, and future-facing way.
Skills & Experience Passion for Implementation Planning and BuyingStrong, up-to-date media landscape knowledge (confidently able to articulate current consumer insights and trends)Attention to detailMedia buying experienceProblem-solving mentalityClear communicator, with well-developed presentation skillsResults Driven.
Passionate about delivering business results for clients, with the ability to identify and clearly articulate what's working and whyWhat Success looks like: In 3 months: Established collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders and internal reportsA strong understanding of and can clearly articulate the agency and group proposition, core Marketplace processes and our way of workingImmersed yourself in the team with an understanding of the status of all active and upcoming campaignsIn 6 months: Demonstrated your ability to deliver on all aspects of the role in an efficient, effective and proactive wayOwning the Marketplace processes for specific allocated clients/campaigns from end to end, ensuring that your manager and wider team are regularly updated on the performance of each campaign demonstrating excellent attention to detailStrengthened your key stakeholder relationships to deliver great teamwork consistentlyIn 12 months: Taking on greater ownership for campaigns and clients – responsibility and volumeBuilding strong relationships with publishers, representing the Wavemaker team appropriately and ensuring that campaigns are delivered to the highest qualityWorking at Wavemaker Inclusive policies Flexible work environmentInclusive parental leave policy that supports all parents and carers throughout their parenting and caring journeyDiscounts and corporate benefitsContinuous training and development opportunitiesResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria.
