What this means for you is the opportunity to be a part of delivering innovative solutions and helping to solve real business problems for a wide variety of valued clients.We have a Field Technician role based in Brisbane.Responsibilities:Provide high-quality desktop support to all types of users including at an executive level.Initial set up and support of laptops, desktops, mobiles, and peripherals.Support users face to face.Complete routine maintenance of standard hardware such as laptops/mobile devices.Accurately manage and track business assets, requests, and incidents.Prioritise new support requests and existing work orders.Record and maintain accurate service details, time records and job notes.Maintain awareness and active involvement in safety to prevent injuries to yourself, colleagues, and customers.Work within the time limits as assigned for specific tasks.Knowledge and Skills:Proven experience in basic hardware and operating system familiarity.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to multitask.Great interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written skills.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to function in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Professional demeanour.Excellent time management skills.Strong customer relationship building skills.Good teamwork with peers and company personnel.Current Australian driver's licence.Ability to pass the company's background check requirements (including but not limited to National Police Check, Employment, and drug screens).Do People Describe You As:An eager learner, who is excited to expand knowledge and gain experience working with and supporting the latest technologies?A fantastic communicator, who does everything in your power to meet customers' needs and follows up to ensure the work is done right?Someone looking to tackle an intense but rewarding and exciting role?Please note:- No WFH flexibility- Shift time: 8-4 or 9-5If you are a self-starter with a strong customer focus and a results-oriented approach complemented by your strong verbal and written communication skills, we would like to hear from you.Your Working Environment:Virtual/Flexible/On-site/TravelIn alignment with our commitment to fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment, we have adopted a hybrid working approach that acknowledges the importance of in-person collaboration while recognising that the determination of your work location will be based on a range of factors to ensure both individual preferences and operational requirements are met.Our Culture and Benefits:DXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
