About the RoleDue to an increased workload, Ventia have multiple permanent positions available for experienced Telecommunication Riggers to join our Wireless Network team in Arndell Park, Western Sydney, Australia.
This role requires you to travel, complete regular overtime and be away from home for extended periods of time.
In this role you will be responsible for upgrading and modifying existing wireless telecommunication sites including Mobile, Fixed Wireless and Broadcast.
Your duties will also include:
Working at heights, installing mobile/broadcast antenna systems, RRU, feeders, Microwave Link install and panningInstalling/Erecting steelwork, monopoles, towers, etc.
as required on both Greenfield and Co-Lo sitesInstalling and testing of hybrid cablesPIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault, terminating feeders, bird-proofing and waterproofing connectorsReading/interpreting construction and As-built drawings and completing works to specification and standardsInstalling and maintaining antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towersWhat's on offerPermanent, Full-time opportunityRate: $40.00 – 47.00p/h + Super (Junior rigger – Senior rigger)Location: Arndell Park, Western Sydney, AustraliaMonthly RDO'sCompetitive salary & full access to our employee benefit platform – VENPERKSASX listed company.

About youProven experience as telecommunication riggerExperience with NBN wireless, Optus, TPG (desirable)Current intermediate or advanced rigging ticketAbility to work with EWP and cranesWorking at heights and Perform Tower Rescue certified, with the ability to comfortably operate at heights regularly (i.e., climbing up to 80m)RadHaz / EME Awareness
