Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this dynamic and diverse role will support across various key functionalities of the Quarry, including maintenance, plant performance, safety, environment, and quality control.This position will fulfill the successful candidate's desire for responsibility and accountability in the delivery of key duties, including supervision and coordination of all daily site activities, leading safety and environmental legislation compliance and implementation of business HSE policies and procedures, promoting, facilitating and initiating LEAN activities, as well as driving customer focused product and service outcomes.Your day will involve:Supervision and management of staff and contractors including coaching, mentoring and managing shift schedules & work plansSafety Management: training staff on safe working practices and conducting regular safety auditsEffective management of production and maintenance activities, including promoting and enforcing safety processes and protocols to meet performance outcomes.What are we looking for?Demonstrated experience in hard rock quarry operations, mining and/or fixed and mobile plant operationsStrong knowledge of hard rock quarrying and crushing processesStrong leadership attributes including initiative to identify, manage, and solve issues as they ariseExperience in LEAN Manufacturing will be highly regarded.What's on offer?Employment stability – permanent roleAttractive salary package reflective of your skills and experienceGenuine career growth opportunities and mentoring supported by industry leaders and subject matter expertsOpportunity for training and career development opportunitiesBroaden your horizons through exposure to our integrated operationsWork for an Equal Opportunity Employer – At Boral, we understand that diversity brings many benefits, and we are increasingly encouraging greater diversity within our workplaces.
