Join Technology & Operations, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (DCITHS)Salary range of $120,859 to $133,183 pa plus superannuation and leave loading.Ongoing role based in the Sydney CBD, NSW About the roleThe Data and Information Technology team within DCITHS have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Information Management Analyst to join the team.In this role, we are looking for a Senior Information Management Analyst to perform a wide range of information and record management activities including developing and implementing the information management frameworks and compliance obligations. In addition, ensuring that information is protected in terms of confidentiality, integrity, availability and complies with the organisation's security policies.Research and analysis to identify emerging issues and developing evidence-based solutions will be a large part of this role. In addition, developing and implementing policies being delivered by the team will include drafting and assessing current procedures for potential weaknesses and designing and delivering rigorous processes. This role will be reporting to the Associate Director Information Management and will be an advocate for records management with a particular focus on compliance against legislation and ensuring strong governance reporting.Should you require further information about the role please contact Gary Cox, Associate Director Information Management at ******. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess strong industry knowledge, with experience in information and/or records management industry and a deep understanding of the State Records Act 1988.You will:have a customer centric approach, putting the customer at the centre of everything you do.have a compliance mindset, finding the opportunity to improve and expand on DCITHS best practice tools.have training experience, coaching both staff and suppliers to ensure understanding of the department's requirements.Working at the centre of information management, you will be comfortable with managing competing priorities and delivering in changing environments.
