Opportunity Type: Full-Time Opportunity Status: Ongoing; Non-Ongoing Opportunity Employment Type: Specified Term Opportunity Employment Type Details: Specified Term - Initial period of up to 12 Months with an opportunity to extend EL1 Director, Digital Organisational Change Management Barton ACT The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) supports accountability and transparency in the Australian Government sector through independent reporting to the Parliament.
At the ANAO, you will make meaningful and valuable contributions to public sector administration through a full range of audit and assurance services.
Corporate Management Group leads corporate strategy, operations and change for the ANAO.
It provides services based on specialised knowledge, best practices and technology that enable the delivery of the ANAO's purpose and audit outcomes.
The key duties of the position include: Lead and manage the organisation change management function in the CTO team to support the successful implementation of the ANAO Digital strategy; Partner closely with the CTO Strategic Project Delivery team to integrate effective change management strategies into all projects and provide change management support, expert advice, and practical assistance in relation to the delivery of ANAO's strategy; Establish and maintain complex internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met; Design, deliver and evaluate tailored change management approaches to ensure impacted stakeholders are aware, ready and supported to adopt change.
This may include change management plans, stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, communication products, training plans and stakeholder engagement workshops; Develop and deliver change artefacts to support effective adoption of digital change including Change Impact Assessments, Communication and Engagement plans, Learning and Training, Business Readiness, Change Handover Plans, and status reports; Provide business analysis support to the CTO team as well as project manage strategic digital projects.
Who we are looking for The successful candidate will have the following attributes: A strong leadership focus, with the ability to guide teams through change; Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders; A proven ability to adapt to change and positively influence its adoption across the organisation; Strong skills in managing competing and evolving priorities in a dynamic environment; Excellent organisational change management and project management expertise; Experience handling responsibilities that are both technical and professional in nature.
Desirable qualifications There are no mandatory qualifications for this role.
However, candidates with leadership experience in organisational change management, strong project management skills, and technical proficiency with information technology systems is highly desirable.
Eligibility Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with the ANAO, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance: The Australian community requires the highest level of integrity from ANAO employees.
The preferred applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Baseline Level.
