Senior Program ManagerFull-time PermanentDetails: Are you a motivated, agile, and responsive Project or Construction Management professional with a keen interest in working on a program that shapes Canberra and contributes to the future of the community?The Electrification of Government Gas Assets Program (EoGGA) is looking for an experienced candidate for our Senior Program Manager role to deliver centralised whole-of-Government Program works that support the ACT Government in meeting its target for net zero emissions from Government operations by 2040.The Senior Program Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership skills to a team of project professionals. The Senior Program Manager leads strategic infrastructure delivery of electrification works across the EoGGA Program including procurement, design, documentation, construction, contract management, reporting, high level negotiations and communications across multiple Directorates.At Infrastructure Canberra we value diversity, and we are looking for passionate professionals who can embody our core values of respect, integrity, collaboration, innovation, safety and excellence. We offer a supportive flexible working environment where your contribution is respected as part of a diverse, highly skilled, and agile team.Eligibility/Other Requirements:Mandatory:Positions classified as Infrastructure Manager / Specialist require the occupant to hold recognised qualifications and / or experience in one or more of the following fields:Engineering – Four-year degree or higher qualification accredited by Engineers Australia or Professionals Australia for recognition as a Professional Engineer (including recognition of equivalent overseas Engineering qualifications) and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Engineering; orArchitecture – Three-year degree or higher qualification accredited by an Australian State or Territory Architecture authority for recognition as a Professional Architect (including recognition of equivalent overseas qualifications) and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Architecture; orProject Management – either:Diploma in Project Management accredited by an Australian State or Territory tertiary education institution (or an equivalent overseas qualification that is eligible for reciprocal recognition in Australia) and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Project Management; orCertification by a professional body, such as the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), to the level of Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD) or Certified Practicing Portfolio Executive (CPPE), in addition to a relevant Degree or higher qualification issued by an Australian State or Territory tertiary education institution (or an equivalent overseas qualification that is eligible for reciprocal recognition in Australia) and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Project Management; orHave at least 10 years relevant experience in Project Management.Experience in the delivery of large programs of infrastructure related work across multiple sites.Hold or willingness to obtain the following National Accreditations.General Construction Induction Card (White Card).How to Apply: Please submit no more than a three-page written response addressing why you are best suited for this position and your experience against the Professional/Technical Skills and Knowledge, Behavioural Capabilities and Compliance Requirements/Qualifications outlined in the Position Description, along with a current curriculum vitae and contact details for two referees.Please provide copies of relevant degrees and qualifications as per the mandatory requirements outlined in the Position Description.Applications should be submitted via the Apply Now button below.
