The Role An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Applications Specialist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Provide advice to business and technical stakeholders on the appropriate use and best practice of clinical and administrative information systems.Investigate, troubleshoot and test the impacts of changes to any of the components supporting the business applications to maintain defined service levels.Build, document and implement technical solutions within best practice Information Computer Technology design and delivery frameworks.Manage and coordinate business and technical activities to ensure the overall health and maintenance of clinical and administrative information systems.About you To be successful in this position you will require: While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Health Information Management and Information Technology would be well regarded.Participation in on-call arrangements and out of standard working hours.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).Benefits Flexible work options.Career Development.Salary Packaging.Modern Facilities.Diverse Work Culture.Research Opportunities.12.75% super.17.5% leave loading.Salary Temporary full time (up to six months with the possibility of extension).
Base salary ranging from $4,046.40 - $4,402.60 per fortnight.
About Us Our high-level responsibilities for the division are for corporate strategy and planning and oversight and management of strategic partnerships, service improvement, digital transformation, digital operations, digital assets, digital partnerships, portfolio/program/project management including major capital/infrastructure programs, clinical coding, service disruption, and service redesign.
Alongside all these responsibilities, our division has a stretch target to create and establish the Gold Coast Health Improvement System - one which embeds a culture of continuous improvement.
