An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Multicultural Affairs Branch, as the Senior Grants Program Officer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
As a Senior Grants Program Officer, you will be responsible, as program lead, for providing high quality program delivery designed to support Victoria's diverse multicultural communities.
This role will contribute to the implementation and oversight of key Multicultural Affairs initiatives, such as the Multicultural Seniors Support program, the Multicultural Media Grants program, and a range of programs focused on supporting priority, new, and emerging multicultural communities.
You will have strong interpersonal and self-management skills to build strong stakeholder relationships with diverse stakeholders and to supervise and motivate a small team to deliver high quality outcomes.
The role requires strong program monitoring and written communication skills and the ability to identify and respond to operational and reputational risks and program opportunities.
The Senior Grants Program Officer will also be responsible for supporting effective relationships with key stakeholders across government and non-government sectors to support effective program delivery.

To support business needs and team culture, the successful applicant will attend the office three days per week with anchor days on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The third day of attendance will be agreed with the Manager on commencement.
About you As our ideal candidate, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in project management and program design, implementation, and evaluation.Strong leadership skills and demonstrated effective people management to support and create a productive and engaged team.Excellent written communication skills and the ability to prepare briefs, letters, and reports.Sound problem-solving skills including the ability to identify and propose workable solutions.Highly developed interpersonal and collaborative working skills, with the ability to build, manage, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.Excellent self-management and ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure outcomes are achieved.The closing date is Sunday 03 November 2024.
