You'll be responsible for assessing project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure all aspects of the elevator installation are considered.
Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will be essential in delivering precise and competitive estimates.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret elevator design specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.Prepare detailed cost estimates for elevator installation and maintenance projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.Provide support and advice to project managers and clients throughout the estimation process.Prepare and present detailed reports and bid proposals to clients and management.Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure estimates are in line with industry standards.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as an Elevator Estimator or in a similar role within the elevator or construction industry.Strong understanding of elevator systems, components, and installation procedures.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Familiarity with estimation software and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications or training in estimating, construction, or elevator systems is a plus.CultureOur client prides themselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where professionalism and dedication are valued, and growth and development opportunities are offered.
