Field Water Quality Analyst

Job Description SGS is looking for Water Quality Analysts, responsible for the organisation and completion of required field work in the Pilbara region and surrounding areas.
This is a FIFO role on an 8 / 6 roster, Thursday to Thursday to Newman.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
Collect water samples according to Australian Standards, including Potable Water, Waste Water, Sewage Water, Soil and Hygiene, for testing against regulatory guidelines such as the Australian Drinking Water Guideline. Perform field tests to ensure results are within water quality acceptance criteria, and to report anomalies immediately to the Project Coordinator / Client as directed. Prepare daily field reports and ensure they are submitted within 24 hours of sampling. Arrange all field consumables, sampling media and equipment as required for each job. Prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA's) and risk assessments as required for each allocated job. Qualifications Degree qualifications in Chemistry, Environmental Science or other relevant fields desirable but not essential. Demonstrable technical skills within the mining sector with previous experience as a Field Sampling Technician. Previous experience in customer service and liaising with clients. C class manual licence. 4WD training desirable. Senior First Aid. Availability for a FIFO role and Thursday to Thursday roster. Additional Information WHY WORK FOR SGS?
