About the Role The Officer – Emergency Partnership is responsible for developing and managing the implementation of the Red Cross Victorian-legislated emergency planning role, policy, projects, and activities.
You will develop strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including Red Cross Emergency Services' volunteer workforce to enhance our role in legislated emergency planning within the emergency management sector.
What you will bring Sound technical knowledge and understanding of emergency management concepts, principles, and arrangements as they apply to the needs of people before, during and after disasters.Sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems.Ability to gather information and check data for relevancy, accuracy, and completeness.Ability to work under general direction with people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environment.Ability to work collaboratively and productively with key internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes.Sound discipline knowledge gained through experience, training or education in emergency management or humanitarian services.Mandatory requirements for this position A valid Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)A valid Drivers LicenceBenefits that act for you, while you act for humanity. Salary from $85,145.84 FTE + superannuation + salary packaging.
