Summary Award-winning architectural studio Global design practice Full-time, Permanent About DKO We are a celebrated, multidisciplinary design practice with a team of over 230 professionals across six studios in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
Our portfolio includes diverse projects such as bespoke residences, luxury hotels, innovative hospitality and workplace interiors, urban design, large-scale master planning, and landscape architecture.

The Role With a number of exciting projects on the horizon, we are searching for a registered Architect to complement and enhance our high performing Surry Hills studio.
You will be responsible for bringing architectural concepts to life whilst considering technical functionality.

Duties include:
Develop concept designs by both hand and CAD application Interpret and apply regulatory and statutory framework to work With the team, determine client requirements for building projects Under guidance, develop and present client proposals and project updates Perform site visits to ensure work is done according to architectural plans Work with the team to undertake feasibility studies, identifying site constraints and opportunities Contribute to construction documentation packages Skills & Experience: Registration via relevant state/territory Architect Registration Board Bachelors' degree in Architecture Minimum 3+ years' experience in an architectural studio environment Proficiency in CAD software (DKO uses ArchiCAD) Solid knowledge of relevant Australian building codes and standards Advanced drafting and graphic presentation skills Solid communication, whether written, visual, or verbal Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively Solid organisation, time management and coordination What We Offer: Work in an award-winning studio with a focus on equity and inclusion Work in a friendly, supportive, fun and creative team environment Opportunities for career progression Exposure to projects across Australia Professional memberships Employee Assistance Program to support mental health Wellness initiatives and social events Generous parental leave policy Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and ability
