Shotcrete Supervisor

They own and operate one of the largest and best maintained mining fleets in PNG, offering the mining sector a variety of infrastructure projects including water, gas piping, treatment plants, and energy-associated technologies.
This mine infrastructure project will be running for 1 - 2 years on Lihir Island.
We require a Shotcrete Supervisor to demonstrate strong shotcrete technique expertise and effectively lead a team operating shotcrete equipment on similar projects as part of the head contracting team.
Expat project experience is preferred.
You will report into the Superintendent, ensuring daily production targets are met while working closely with the client and assisting with any productivity issues on site.
This role will suit an experienced Shotcrete Supervisor with strong leadership, technical expertise, and capabilities to lead a team.
Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
Supervision and execution of shotcreting, guidance of a team, and reportingBatching of the shotcrete/concrete as required, compliance with all QA/QC requirements, and maintenance of stock levelsProven ability to drive and maintain operational improvements and efficienciesDemonstrated experience using shotcrete machinesPromote a strong safe & healthy workplace, and ensure environmental standards are in line with regulationsThe successful individual will have a proven track record of working as a Senior Shotcrete Operator or Shotcrete Supervisor, with a minimum of 5 – 8 years for civil, construction, or mining companies in similar conditions.
Must have strong communication skills, follow directions, and be proactive in the workplace.
Must have obtained a First Aid Certificate and relevant qualifications, certificates, and licenses in the mining & construction industry.
This role will ensure project targets are met, and suitable individuals are qualified to deliver appropriate shotcrete works.
