An exciting opportunity is now available for a Nurse Practitioner in a Temporary Full Time role located at Nepean Hospital.
The Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse educated and authorised to function autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role.
Your role includes assessment and management of consumers with mental illness and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities: Consult and attend to patients within established benchmarks around timeliness of assessment and determination of care needs.Provide direct patient care to a defined cohort of patients within the Scope of Practice of the Nurse Practitioner Mental Health and Nurse Practitioner Drug and Alcohol.Actively participate in improving service delivery for consumers and their families.Produce measurable quality outcomes for consumers supported within the service.Achieve high standards of nursing care at the level of advanced practice.Develop and lead collaborative partnerships between doctors and nurses to provide better health care for patients.If this working environment excites you, please apply now
