Consulting Arborist

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Consulting Arborist to join our dynamic team.
You will play a crucial role in assessing and managing the health of trees, offering expert advice to clients, and contributing to the overall success of our Arboricultural projects.
Key Responsibilities: Site inspections and preparing tree risk assessment reports (QTRA and TRAQ).
• preparation of Arboricultural impact assessments for developments • Project arborist for developments.
• Resistograph trees for risk assessments.
• Assessing the impact of cutting tree roots, supervising root mapping, and excavating within the TPZ and SRZ.
Essential Skills • Interest in arboriculture and urban forestry • Effective written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and adapt About the candidate AQF Level 5 Arborist (Diploma of Arboriculture) – Completed or currently enrolled ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certification is highly preferred.
With relevant work experience as a Consulting Arborist.
Strong knowledge of tree biology, identification, and health assessment.
Familiarity with local regulations and best management practices related to tree care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using arboricultural software and tools Annual income for standard 38 hour week excluding superannuation Range ($100,000 - $130,00 per annum) commensurate with industry rates, skills and experience.
