Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working model: 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week, 2 days from an RACP office location per week, 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team. Job Description About the role This is a fixed term contract till 31 December 2025.
This position is in the Education, Development and Improvement (EDI) area of the Education, Learning and Assessment directorate.
The EDI team is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and project management of the implementation of the Board-approved new education governance, as well as major RACP Education Renewal projects, including Basic Training Curricula Renewal, Advanced Training Curricula Renewal, cross-College Examinations Review and initiatives aimed at growing the Indigenous physician workforce.
Reporting to the Project Lead, the position will support product development to operationalise the new governance structure and assist transition to BAU.
In addition, the role will support the Lead by performing specific committee administration activities for the College Education Committee.
Product development support: In collaboration with EDI management:
Support the development and review of products and collateral according to agreed business requirements and within established timelines.
This includes staff delegations schedule, terms of reference, forms and templates. Collaborate with staff from ELA, Professional Practice and/or other business units where applicable through product development and operationalisation.
This includes holding meetings and workshops to identify pain points, developing resolutions and ensuring products are functional within the BAU environment. Develop and update resources for members and staff, e.g., webpage, FAQs and information packs. Communicate emerging risks and issues and escalate to management as required. Update project planners and trackers, including project status reports, schedules, logs and registers.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure deliverables and milestones are aligned with agreed timelines. Project administration and committee support: Support management of EDI inbox enquiries and triage/escalate where required. Administration support for the College Education Committee (CEC): Manage inbox enquiries and triage/escalate where required. Collate agenda and papers and for in-person meetings, complete travel arrangements for attending members/staff. Develop periodic CEC communications to committees. Utilise recording platforms and ensure membership information remain current. Desired Skills and Experience Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience in project management, specifically in product development, to support operationalisation of the new education governance structure.
Products include committee documentation, processes, forms and templates. Understanding of the importance of stakeholder relationships and demonstrated ability to build and maintain such relationships. Experience in preparing reports and communications within prescribed guidelines. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail. Demonstrated administrative, organisational and multi-tasking skills. A commitment to professional member service and requirements for confidentiality. Ability to work flexibly within a team environment. Tertiary degree qualifications in a related field and/or relevant experience.
