Taussig Cherrie Fildes are an award winning, pre-eminent boutique specialist family law firm in the heart of the CBD law precinct.
We specialise in all aspects of family law and particularly in relation to complex financial matters, including sophisticated trust and corporate structures, interests in large businesses, inter-generational wealth and property located in multiple jurisdictions.
We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional level of service to our clients providing strategic and commercial advice.
A hybrid working arrangement is available (up to two days per week WFH) and we are located 2 mins from Flagstaff train station.
We have an active social committee, mentoring and support.
Responsibilities:
Communicating detailed family law advice by written correspondence, telephone and in conference Drafting various documents including but not limited to court and settlement documents, Binding Financial Agreements, Child Support Agreements Appearing/instructing counsel during court hearings, mediations and conferences Engaging barristers, third party valuers, financial advisors and related professionals Preparing briefs to counsel Analysing and management of voluminous financial discovery Collaborating with senior practitioners Mentoring, delegating and providing work and instructions to junior lawyers, paralegals and law clerks Maintaining and developing referrer relationships The ideal candidate has:
minimum 5 years PAE experience within family law (Accredited Specialist preferred or looking to gain accreditation) critical thinking and analytical skills strong drafting, verbal and written communication skills exceptional attention to detail and inter-personal skills effective time management a high level of professionalism and confidentiality strong work ethic and is a team player Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
