About the role: The Head of Brand & Creative at Origin is a senior role on our Marketing leadership team, responsible for governing, building, and growing the brand, while also acting as our strategic creative director.
You will set the creative direction, delivering brand and sponsorship campaigns, and hold the ultimate responsibility for brand strategy and work across various channels.
You'll keep our customer at the heart, with a strong passion for driving compelling communications and executions that will capture the public and our customers positive attention and help us drive our ambition to be Australia's most trusted and loved retailer.
Key responsibilities: Develop and execute brand strategies and creative work that continues to grow and develop the Origin brand to build long-term brand love.
Take responsibility for long- and short-term brand ambitions, set our brand positioning and creative direction. With a bias to action, you will be able to engage with and mobilise stakeholders across the business through strategic and creative experience, articulating a strategic narrative.
You will respond quickly with ideas and work in market that delivers on brand ambitions, but also can consider upper-funnel marketing work to drive business unit outcomes. Lead an in-house creative studio, nurturing a team of talented graphic designers and content designers to deliver art direction, conceptual work, and best-in-class creative that drives business outcomes. Be the core guardian and protector of the Origin brand via strong architecture management, creative direction (visual and written), management and responsiveness to insights and responding to market and consumer trends in creative and innovative ways. What will you bring? Minimum of 15 years' experience in agency creative strategy, and/or senior marketing roles including 10+ years in strategy direction or marketing leadership. Minimum 10 years people management experience; including leading people and teams through periods of change. A strong bias to action and passion for creating cut-through work. Ability to advise and discuss ideas with senior management with confidence, conviction and professionalism. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. So, why join us?
