As part of the group, Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specializing in temperature-sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.
Lindsay Rural and the Hunters business provide essential services and products to rural Australia across most Australian growing regions.
Today we employ over 1,800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.
The Role:We are seeking a local Driver to join the team in the Gatton depot for pickup and delivery work.
The role available is a dayshift position and does require some weekend work.
Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading, and load restraint of freight.
Primary duties of the role include:Working with temperature-sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs.Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight.Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation, and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology.Interacting with clients in a professional manner.Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading, and transportation of freight.About You:The candidates we are looking for will have:
