About the role
Join AWCON Pty Ltd as a full-time Project Engineer based in Tanami, NT.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil and structural engineering projects, contributing to the company's ongoing growth and expansion in the region.
What you'll be doing
Manage the planning, design, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and contractors, to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
Provide technical support and guidance to project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and the development of innovative engineering solutions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar project engineering role, preferably within the civil or construction industry.
Demonstrated expertise in project management, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex engineering projects.
Strong technical skills in areas such as structural analysis, design, and construction methods.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical and cost-effective solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Proficient in the use of engineering design software and project management tools.
