Tool of Trade Vehicle ProvidedHybrid Role - Workshop and Field TechnicianRelocation assistanceA fantastic opportunity is now available for a qualified and experienced Plant or Heavy Diesel Mechanic working within our Roads Services Business based out from our workshop in Hume, ACT.
The role would see you in a hybrid capacity working in the workshop as well as attending to service repairs on the Field.
You will ensure that the highest standard of plant reliability and availability is achieved, whilst maintaining Downer's Safety and regulatory standards.
ABOUT YOU Trade qualified Heavy Diesel or Plant MechanicCurrent HR Licence (preferred)Current Forklift Licence (preferred)Experience working on heavy mobile equipment, trucks and diesel enginesBasic hydraulic knowledgeStrong fault finding skills and break down supportA good attitude and strong 'team player' with the proven ability to work efficiently with othersAble to work unsupervisedA strong commitment to a Zero Harm cultureWHAT WE OFFER Highly supportive, team orientated organisationOn the job training and upskillingAbove award pay rates and yearly increasesAccess to a variety of benefits and incredible discounts to support you and your family's lifestyleA large fleet of new modern equipment to service and maintain HOW TO APPLY
