THE ROLE The primary purpose of the Warehouse Officer is to provide assistance to the Warehouse Team Leader in the daily operations of the warehouse, not limited to Goods Receipting, Picking / Issuing of materials.
Specific Responsibilities Checking and signing consignment notesLoading and unloading freight utilising mobile plantStock picking, packing and processing of goods issuesReceipting of materials to warehouse utilising SAP inventory systemReview of Certifications for materialsQuality Assurance checksStocktakingInvestigation of stock discrepanciesStock disposal processingInvestigating requirements for Offshore ReturnsUse of staging and tracking tool in SAPPacking materials for transportLoading / Packing of materials into offshore containers for sea freightQualifications and Experience Advanced experience using SAP inventory systemKnowledge and understanding of warehousing operationsHigh attention to detailKnowledge and experience of applicable standards and legislation for dangerous goods handling and storage awarenessDemonstrated experience completing IMDG documentationDemonstrated experience handling dangerous goodsCertificate III qualifications in warehousing operations or the ability to achieveAdvanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power pointAbility to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environmentCurrent First Aid certificateIntegrityStrong Communication skills (both written and verbal)Strong focus on safetyClient focused and responsive to customer requirementsPerformance and task drivenGood time managementWhy QUBE?
