Senior Frontend Engineer - User Help Experience

What you'll be doing in this role
Building efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems Working closely with stakeholders and designers to create world-class support experiences Collaborating within and across teams to create holistic solutions Identifying and improving practices and methodologies for front-end engineering Finding opportunities for cross-team collaboration to work on new ideas and improvements Empowering and mentoring other engineers You'll take ownership of a rapidly growing domain that captures customer feedback, harnesses user research, and shares insights with teams across Canva while closing the loop with users when their issues have been solved.

You will work closely with team members to build solutions that help users quickly resolve their issues and, if needed, hand them over to support agents smoothly.

You will get hands-on experience writing reusable code and technical documentation to build intuitive user and staff-facing experiences.

You will lead and contribute to projects, discover opportunities, and drive experiments.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer who knows how to communicate well and design systems and components that balance simplicity and flexibility.

You have the ability to write performant, reusable code for UI components, including appropriate testing You enjoy working collaboratively, communicating effectively, and taking ownership of projects and outcomes You've perfected the balance between big-picture thinking and nailing the details You're excited about contributing to a rapidly growing and critical function of Canva and improving the help experience for millions of people around the world About the team
The User Help Experience group aims to empower every user to instantly solve their issues or answer their questions as we scale to support 1 billion users.
The Support Profile & Pathways team delivers an exceptional customer experience by building innovative self-help tools, creating streamlined user experiences, developing scalable systems, capturing and sharing customer insights, and working closely with the AI Assistant and Help Center teams.
