Campbell Transport has been operating in Western Australia for 20 years with logistics operations throughout the state.
Conducting bulk haulage in the mining sector as well as agriculture and general freight, Campbell Transport is emerging as one of WA's leading Transport and Logistics companies.
Campbell Transport has been awarded the logistics contract by Kimberley Mineral Sands for the transport of mineral sands from their Thunderbird project through to the Port of Broome for ship loading.
The Thunderbird project is a large scale, world class mineral sands project which will produce zircon and ilmenite products.
The project is expected to complete construction towards the end of 2023 with logistics activities to coincide with this timeframe.
Campbell Transport will be responsible for the loading and haulage of containers between the mine site and port as well as the shuttling of containers to the port for loading during ship loading operations.
We are seeking qualified HD Mechanics who are up to the task of maintaining our fleet of super quads.
Your duties will include (but not limited to):
Servicing some of the largest road-going vehicles in the worldFault finding and clearing defectsOngoing maintenance of trucks and trailersProvide maintenance solutions and supportCompleting the required paperwork to ensure compliance requirements are met.Experience required: To be able to carry out vehicle repairs, maintenance, minor and major servicesExperience working on trucks - preferably KenworthsAbility to conduct diagnostic inspectionsHD trade certificateForklift ticket highly desired but not essentialMC Licence highly desired but not essentialWhat we offer: Full time permanent positions5 Weeks Annual Leave.Work in Broome, one of Australia's most popular holiday destinationsLiving away from home allowance (FIFO mechanics)Residential allowance if you live within BroomeAnniversary awards/giftsReputable organisation with a positive, supportive work cultureYour application will include the following questions:
