Senior SHE Business Partner - 6-month Contract Weir Minerals Artarmon Onsite Purpose of Role: As the Senior SHE Business Partner, your expertise in manufacturing will provide functional support for Artarmon's Operations - which is inclusive of: Manufacturing, Logistics, Research and Development and various white-collar teams.
You will ensure compliance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
By partnering with leadership and employees alike, you will champion innovative solutions that not only meet regulatory standards but also enhance our operational excellence and sustainability goals.
A dynamic safety business partner, adept at communicating effectively and working with large teams in high-risk environments, you will own the SHE space for operations.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, Mentor and Supervise: Oversee assigned SHE resources, providing guidance and support.
Effective Communication: Present information to top management and/or boards of directors clearly and persuasively.
Problem Solving: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and communicate effectively with Weir associates regarding safety and risk management.
Compliance Support: Assist Business Units with development, consultation and communication of relevant compliance procedures for site activities.
Safety Reviews: Conduct reviews of Weir Management Systems with Business Managers.
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Qualifications: Certificate or Degree in Workplace Health and Safety or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in mining, manufacturing or heavy industry in a similar role.
Incident Management: ICAM Lead Investigator training or demonstrated experience in incident management.
Safety systems knowledge: Familiarity with Interlect/Shield, Rapid Global and Solve.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Decision Making: Able to understand expectations and translate this into deliverables and make informed decisions.
