Position overview
An exciting and challenging opportunity that will suit a Plumbing Technical Advisor who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
As the Senior Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for providing technical plumbing advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, responding to issues and enquiries, developing documentation, reports and briefings, liaising with industry, supporting technical committees/boards, and providing specialised technical services.
What we are looking for:
Licenced or registered for a class or classes of prescribed plumbing work under the Building Act 1993 (Victoria).
Knowledge of the plumbing regulatory framework including the Building Act, Plumbing Regulations, and National Construction Code and other relevant legislation.
Experience providing quality technical advice to a range of stakeholders, including the ability to build, maintain and negotiate outcomes.
Ability to communicate information efficiently and effectively to internal and external stakeholders over the phone, in person, and in email.
Written communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports.
