Location: Sydney CBD Salary Package: $70 - $75k + super Role Highlights: Support the underwriting team, great culture and team events, 1 day WFH after probation.
Work across multiple commercial products in insurance.
Role Overview: As an Assistant Underwriter, you will play a key role in supporting the underwriting process, helping assess risks and ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate.
You will work closely with senior underwriters to process policies, manage client relationships, and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Responsibilities: Assist underwriters in placing insurance risks for new and renewal business.
Process and prepare underwriting quotes, proposals, and policy documents.
Maintain accurate and organized client and policy records in our system.
Liaise with brokers, agents, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify any outstanding details.
Provide administrative support to the underwriting team.
Candidate Profile In order to be successful in this role, you will have: Assistant underwriting experience or experience within policy support in the insurance industry Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, brokers, and team members A proactive attitude, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Company, Culture & Benefits Excellent working culture and training program Career progression opportunities 1 Day WFH after probation Exposure across multiple products Annual team get away and team events To apply, please email ******
