This role is a great opportunity to join their FX administration team at an entry-level and to kickstart your career in finance.About your new jobAs the Junior Foreign Exchange Administrator you will assist in the maintenance of the financial documents and processes surrounding the purchasing and payment of goods and services purchased from overseas locations.Primary duties include:Liaising with Profit Centres (which create international purchase orders) to provide information regarding exchange rates, methods of payment, FX hedging requirementsAssist in the creation and changes to FX hedgesCreate and maintain letters of creditAssist in the recording of international transactions from purchasing to payment and the posting of these various transactions in the Finance transaction systemsAccurately record the payments of transactions in company Financial SystemsLiaise with Profit centres to record the AUD value of international transactions in the company financial systemsAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will ideally have exposure in the following:Accounts Payable and FX experience preferredAttention to detail and quality assurance by building error-checking into own workflowStrong knowledge of Microsoft packagesAbility to work to a strict schedule and be results-focusedStrong communication skills as well as attention to detailProactive and forward-thinkingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAccounting degree qualified (or near completion) would also be an advantage.What is in it for youThis is an opportunity to join a future-focused business that invests in its people and its customers' evolving needs.Up to $65,000 + super and bonusCareer opportunities progressing in FX or into Finance & AccountingFlexibility and work-life balance.Great team culture and strong company values.On-site parking providedTo apply online, please forward your resume to Kate Cvetanoska by clicking on the link below.All Rights Reserved | West Recruitment Pty Ltd#J-18808-Ljbffr
