Join the dynamic Capital Assets and Facilities Management Group within the Queensland Police Service and be part of our exciting corporate uplift.

As a Senior Project Officer, you'll manage complex capital works projects, utilising advanced project management techniques to achieve effective outcomes.
Your role will involve engaging with internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives, overseeing budgets and forecasts, and preparing key reports and submissions.
You'll also contribute to the development of our project systems and the QPS Building Design Manual while providing mentorship and leadership to your team.

This is your chance to make an impact in shaping our capital works initiatives - Apply Now The Core Capability Requirements for this role are: Manager capital works building projects of a complex nature, utilising project management techniques and tools to ensure project objectives are delivered.Undertake stakeholder engagement, including technical, operational, internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.Manage capital works programs, including establishing and reviewing budgets, cash flows, forecasts and programming to ensure clients' priorities are delivered.Prepare Ministerial and executive briefings, reports and submissions relevant to program management.Contribute to the development and review of capital delivery project systems and the QPS Building Design Manual.
Provide supportive and responsive mentoring and leadership to team members.Applications to remain current for 12 months. Every day the Queensland Police Service, your police service, works tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of the community.
