To support this, we need another outstanding employment, IR and safety lawyer to help us continue our expansion and growth.The RoleAs a Legal Counsel, you would be a member of the Source Workplace Law team, which is comprised of 18 specialist workplace lawyers.
Most of our lawyers are top tier trained and have extensive in-house experience, making us a leading national firm in this area of law.In this role, you would do high-quality work in a unique in-house style position, across many industries and for clients of various sizes, with no billable hour or timesheet requirements.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a high-performing employment, IR and safety lawyer who is commercially savvy, highly responsive and comfortable providing clear and decisive legal advice.This role can be performed remotely, or from our offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Newcastle, or a combination of both.Ideally full-time, but we are open to part-time (at least three days per week).About YouWe're looking for someone that:Has at least 4 years' post admission experience as an employment or IR lawyer, gained in high-caliber private practice roles and ideally also in-house legal roles.Ideally, has experience in safety law.Is comfortable giving pragmatic in-house style advice without 'sitting on the fence' or over-complicating things.Is a self-starter who can work quickly and efficiently.Has outstanding client management skills and is passionate about delivering the best client experience possible.Is a very effective and collaborative team-player.Has an entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set.What's In It For YouBe mentored and build your skills in a supportive and high-performing team environment.High-quality work, great clients and a wide range of professional development opportunities.Interesting, varied and challenging legal work in all areas of workplace law across many different industries.Work with other outstanding lawyers in our Workplace Law team, in a fun and highly collaborative work environment.Work autonomously, but with lots of support when you need it.Be part of the HPX Group and work collaboratively alongside Hamilton Locke, Australia's fastest growing law firm.Opportunities to work on matters with the Workplace and Safety team at Hamilton Locke (our associated law firm).Regular training, social events and team retreats.Freedom to choose how, where and when to work.Be at the forefront of developing new ways of providing legal services.No timesheets.Competitive remuneration.Full day birthday leave.People experience programs like the Da Vinci Development Program (get an extra weeks' leave after completing a personal development activity) and the Adventure Club (this year's trips were to Queenstown, Hobart and Darwin).How to Apply?We prefer to work directly with candidates.
