Role Overview:As a Cadet Estimator, you will work closely with our experienced estimating team to assist in the preparation of cost estimates for a variety of civil and infrastructure projects.
This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals currently studying construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction projectsAnalyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine accurate cost projectionsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary informationPerform quantity take-offs and prepare material and labour cost estimatesAssist in the identification and evaluation of project risks and opportunitiesMaintain and update estimating databases and recordsSupport the bid preparation process and contribute to tender submissionsQualifications and Skills:Recently graduated in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or a related fieldExperience in or exposure to estimating would be advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelFamiliarity with estimating software is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentMentorship and training from experienced professionalsA collaborative and inclusive work environmentExposure to a wide range of projects and industry practicesIf you are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction and project management, we would love to hear from you.
