Role Overview The Infrastructure Engineering (IE) Solution Architect is responsible for working with Account and Sales teams to qualify and support Infrastructure Services sales opportunities.
The Solution Architect (SA) plays a critical client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings.
Key Responsibilities Respond to RFI / RFP's, prepare solution documentation and presentations.Develop the Solution Plan, including solution approach, scope, estimates, contingency, costs, schedule, delivery model, resource / sourcing plan, assumptions, and risks.Create winning proposals by closely working with sales teams, internal delivery organizations, and 3rd party vendor ecosystem.Apply domain expertise (Cloud, Workplace services, Network, and Service management) to architect / design solutions.Leverage our company's assets and capabilities to develop compelling business propositions.Optimize cost-to-serve using Advance technology centres and multiple workforces.Manage and work with a team of dynamic solution architects and collaborate with other subject matter experts.Develop and maintain strong relationships with account teams and client stakeholders.Drive solution presentations and discussions.Conduct and follow through the solution review and approval process.Preferred Skills Strong infrastructure management services solutioning skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong customer-service focus.Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Able to work in a geographically dispersed virtual multi-team environment.Able to support the development of pricing models and Statements of Work.Education and Experience Degree in Computer Science, Business studies or Engineering discipline with specific studies in Information Technology.
10+ years' experience in IT, including 5+ years as an Architect (Generalist).
Experience with Solution Architecture and IT Project Delivery (mandatory).
Experience with and certified in Cloud Architectures – Azure / AWS / Google (mandatory).
