The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced workshop foreman to join the team at Wales Truck Repairs in Smithfield.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe ability to allocate work, monitor staff with time on jobs to create an efficient workplace to meet set deadlines.Time management of jobs and staff to meet KPI's with a high-quality standard of repairs.Manage/monitor workshop consumables and order where required.Report back to senior management.Does this sound like you? Ability to delegate: be clear about goals and expectations to achieve KPI's and high-quality workmanship.Teamwork: the ability to be flexible when things change quickly and being able to adapt to different situations.Positive attitude and outlook: to achieve goals and keep morale high.Strong communication skills: clearly articulating goals and expectations, as well as strong interpersonal skills including frequent authentic one-on-ones with staff to build trust and transparency.Time Management: to manage employee workload and flow of the workshop to meet set deadlines.Workplace Culture: to create a positive morale in the workshop, modeling inclusiveness of all employees to build trust and highly engaged staff.We know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours and would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.
