The AgroFresh organization has 40 years of post-harvest experience across a broad range of crops, including pome fruit (apples/pears), citrus, avocados, and mangoes – and we continue to expand into new countries and crops and pre-harvest.
What the Role Delivers This role leads the Asia Pacific regional sales and deployment of digital and data products that tangibly impact agricultural supply chains and food waste globally, including a SaaS platform, IoT devices, mobile apps, integration partners and related BI outputs.
Food waste is a problem of generational scope impacting greenhouse gas emissions, hunger and nutrition in every region of the world with significant opportunity for digital solutions to provide long-term impact.
The successful candidate joins a nimble, collaborative team focused on digital offerings that contribute to the consistent profitable growth of the global organization.
Key Responsibilities In order of relative importance Collaborate with account managers and country leads to develop a robust digital sale pipeline closing adequate deals to generate budgeted annual recurring revenueDrive productive prospecting, system demonstration, client trials and subscription deal flow in collaboration with commercial teamsAssisting with the initial configuration and implementation of digital productsCollaborate with client success manager to delivering user training and documentationGenerating user acceptance test plans and monitor their signoffProviding close support in the go-live phase and annual account performance reviewsIdentify upsell/cross sell opportunitiesUnderstand client processes regarding technology topics and derives related requirements in alignment with digital product ownerEnsure continuous information exchange with product management about customer specific engineering topicsWho to Work With Primary internal and external stakeholders Member of the Digital & Data teamReports to Head, Digital & Data; responsible to Regional Commercial Director, Product Owner and Client Success ManagersKey collaborator with account and technical managers, technical resources and country leadersHow We Work AgroFresh core competencies – those in italics apply for people leaders Accountability for ResultsMindset for GrowthCustomer CentricityOne AgroFreshWhat the Job Requires Bachelor's Degree or EquivalentAbility to travel up to 33%Competency in MS Office/365 and CRMPrior demonstrated success in a technology sales roleWhat to Have Done and Know How to Do These skills and experiences are highly desirable; however, they do not preclude exceptions based on an individual's performance history and demonstrated potential. 2+ years of experience in a sales, client success/service or project management role for a technology company or division (preferably SaaS)Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with keen prioritization and multi-tasking abilitiesExceptional interpersonal skills; have the unique ability to talk technical details, ROI/value creation and business strategy in the same conversationStrong technical aptitude and respect for processes but be adaptable through changeStrong organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detailCustomer-centric mentality; ability to empathize and build client relationshipsAbility to think creatively and be a persistent problem solverWhy Work Here We work every day to improve the quantity and quality of fresh produce and reduce food waste – that is important to every person on the planetWe have a rich history and are known for our quality products.We have an enterprising spirit and are looking for like-minded problem-solvers to help us accomplish our goals.We focus on the Critical Few priorities that are important for us and our customers and then hold ourselves accountable to deliver.We are growing and transforming – both our business and the industry.We are committed to developing our colleagues and helping you advance in your career.We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.Local Details Must be based near an existing AgroFresh New Zealand or Australia officeRole is fully remote or hybrid
